Analysing sales performance, stock and planned availability Managing and developing Store Planner’s Minimum requirements Preferably a relevant business diploma / degree (Retail business management/BCom/Clothing management/BScience/BA) 3-5 years planning experience Extensive Retail knowledge Technically strong merchandising skills High attention to detail Merchant and retail ability demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and customer needs. Knowledge of business IT systems (including Forecasting and Replenishment, RMS etc) Knowledge of Product lead times to formulate a working critical path. Ability to formulate strategies and implement shorter-term tactical plans that are cost – effective efficient and realistic. Analytical and interpretative ability Business acumen: an understanding of basic business processes and how sales are generated and the ability to achieve these goals. Computer literate: advanced Excel Skills and ability to operate in a Windows based environment. Assertiveness and influencing ability. Effective communication and interpersonal skills Results driven and proactive. Ability to work in a pressurised environment. Team Player
