Description RPO Recruitment, a well-established recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planner to join a leading retail company. In this role, you will be responsible for creating merchandise plans and optimizing inventory levels to drive sales and maximize profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and execution of merchandise strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Create merchandise plans based on sales forecasts, market trends, and business objectives. Analyze historical data and customer insights to determine product assortments and quantities. Collaborate with buying and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and pricing tactics. Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, making real-time adjustments as needed. Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide input on merchandise strategies and initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field. Proven experience as a Planner in the retail industry. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in merchandise planning software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of retail math, merchandising principles, and market trends. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
