Plastic Sheet Extrusion Operator - Polypropylene - Durban North
Candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of plastic extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic profiles. Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety procedures, including operation of equipment with all safety mechanisms in use. Knowledge of handling equipment during emergencies and the ability to perform Lock-out/Tag-out procedures is crucial. Quality Assurance: Adjust machinery based on job specifications to produce quality material, perform necessary tests, and inspections, and operate within Company targets. Diligence in monitoring product quality and taking immediate corrective actions as needed. Productivity Enhancement: Achieve 100% on-time completion of scheduled production. This involves varying roles from operating extruders and forming machines to handling finished products. Maintenance & Reporting: Responsible for preventive maintenance, immediate reporting of any processing or maintenance issues, and accurate daily documentation regarding production and quality data.
