Main Responsibilities/Outcomes:
Software Development:

• Develop PLC software in line with client specifications.
• Ensure adherence to detailed requirements through onsite meetings with customers.

Hardware Concept Design:

• Design hardware concepts prior to implementation, ensuring optimal functionality.

Documentation and Backup Management:

• Maintain thorough documentation and effective backup management practices.

Commissioning and Handover:

• Lead commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.

Adherence to Instructions:

• Follow instructions provided by the Automation Engineering Manager diligently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• National Diploma and/or N3 in Electrical Engineering (Advantageous).

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• 2-3 years of PLC programming experience in the automotive industry.
• Essential experience with Mitsubishi PLC programming.
• Advantageous experience with Toyopuc PLC programming.

Attitudes/Behaviours Required:

• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• High level of motivation to drive success in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure precision in programming and implementation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver exceptional results.
