Reference: PE002421-MT-1 Our client in the Automotive Industry is currently looking to employ a Shipping Administration Clerk to their team, based in Port Elizabeth. Three (3) years experience in an administrative role in Shipping, within a Manufacturing environment secures. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: Diploma / Certificate or equivalent (NQF 5). Up to 3 years in an administrative environment in Shipping in particular in Manufacturing. Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite). The person must have in-depth knowledge of invoicing on SAP, with proven ability to handle high volumes of transactions under pressure against tight deadlines. This is a core requisite of the job. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Shipping administration: Data capturing related to receiving, stock-counts, invoicing (in main) and any other inventory. Maintain the integrity of the entire administration system within the Automotive Shipping Dept. Preparation of shipping related documents specific to OEM requirements (eg. advanced shipping notices, etc.) Adherence to procedures with respect to export shipping administration specific. Assist with correspondence with customers related to goods in transit control. Assist with adjudication and resolving of customer complaints in conformance with service level agreements. Maintain various records key to the Department's success, eg. sequential POD control. General office duties (administration). Compliance: Operates within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of the company. Reports risks or areas of concern to management within own operating area. Promotes compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure. Customer service: Maintains effective working relationships with employees and customers to render highest quality of services. Identifies and solves problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with company core values. Cost control: Supports the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources. Limits expenditure, reduces costs and ensures deviations from budgetary limits are reported to direct Supervisor.
