The responsibilities of such position are inter alia : To monitor and record the reefer temperatures in the Ports and nominated Depots; Downloads on reefer container as required; Steri monitoring in Port and nominated Depots and associated tasks; Deliver spares to vessel as and when required; Assist reefer technicians as and when required with repairs; Carry out minor repairs on reefers and change set points The position requires the incumbent to be able to walk long distances and up and down the fleet of stairs daily and must be physically fit for the job. Previous work performance/assiduity and experience in reefers or similar will be considered. Electrical knowledge will be an advantage. The incumbent should be accurate, have a neat writing skill and be able to work overtime including weekends and public holidays. A Code 08 driver's license is mandatory.
