Established Property Management Company is looking for an assistant who has at least 3 - 5 years experience in Community Schemes with exceptional administrative and time management skills. The assistant will work closely with the Manager of a specialized Community Scheme Portfolio. The job requires that you have: Excellent health record Strong work ethics A can-do, proactive and energetic attitude towards you work Must be able to cope under pressure Administrative Duties: Answering phone calls and attending to tenant requests Attending to emails and general requests Filing of various documentation Shredding of documentation Scheduling of appointments and meetings Drafting of meeting documentation Maintaining a record of all insurance policies and claims Following up on outstanding matters General and Financial Duties: Drafting of lease renewals Prepare supplier invoices for payment and sending remittances to suppliers Following up on outstanding levy, rental and utility payments (Credit Control) Assisting the manager with monthly billing procedures (obtaining reading schedules and recoveries.) Assisting the manager with monthly managing statements and reports. Attending to clearance figure requests and producers. Any other reasonable requests from the portfolio manager Legislative Duties: Attending to Community Schemes Ombud Service legislative submissions and requirements. Previous experience in Sectional Titles and Community Schemes Ombud Service and legislation requirements, will be highly advantageous. Basic bookkeeping skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer literacy (MS Word & Excel) Experience with the Property Software MDA/MRI Salary commensurate with experience (± R15 000-00)
