Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a QA-Poultry Meat Examiner in the Delmas and Sundra area. Monitor process and product parameters and report deviations according to protocol (E.g., Product and water temperatures, brine ratios, injections, utilities, pest control, build ups, Cutting blades, Water Chlorination) Condemn the portions/carcasses not fit for human consumption. Record keeping of all condemned material. Manage the utensils issuing and reconciliation process (Knives, steel, gloves, scissors etc) Conduct daily pre-operational inspections. Ensure all prescribed food safety and hygiene programs are compiled to. Highlight recurring deviations and recommend corrective actions. Communicate with relevant staff when deviations occur and participate in problem solving. Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement. Assist meat inspectors for live bird intake control processes (e.g Postmortem, ante mortem animal welfare checks) Encouraging quality awareness and food safety ccommitment Make sure employees adhere to the health and safety regulations through training and discipline. Ensure that daily paperwork is completed correctly and submitted. EV Control when doing meat inspection at second meat inspection point. Final product inspection and dispatch Report and escalate misconduct to facilitate disciplinary actions Grade 12 (with English and Mathematics) Certificate in Poultry Meat Examination At least 2 - 3 year's meat handler experience in poultry processing Basic Computer Literacy Manufacturing norms Market Realted Apply Now
