Robert Walters Africa Responsibilities:Ensure data governance principles are being adhered to, in particular: standardisation of data, data auditability, accountability and ownership (stewardship) of data and change management.Design and build new PowerBI dashboards, and maintain these on an ongoing basis.Utilising Snowflake, build and maintain Snowflake Views and implement corresponding PowerBI dataflows (and other consumption methods), advising end-users how to utilise these.Monitor ETL processes and work with our Data Warehouse support vendor to ensure these remain stable at all times.Ensure workspaces are properly structured within the PowerBI service, maintaining development, staging and production workspaces.Maintain access and security to dashboards, dataflows and PowerBI apps.Become a power user of Snowflake, the company's data warehouse, understanding its pipeline (managed in Azure Data Factory) and how its datasets interact.Work with other members of the Data & Analytics team to help scale and continually improve the Data Warehouse, identifying and defining opportunities for new integrations via APIs or Snowflake Secure Sharing. Candidates Requirements:Post graduate or equivalent qualification in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems)Minimum 3 years' related experience with PowerBI or similar toolsAdvanced PowerBIAdvanced understanding of ETL processesAdvanced Excel user (incl.
