A Preschool in Groenkloof, Pretoria is looking for a PreSchool Teacher to provide quality childcare and to help children reach their developmental milestones. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Ensure the health and safety of the children in your care at all times. Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times Help children reach their developmental milestones through appropriate and engaging activities. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents. Design and follow a full schedule (weekly themes) of activities. Must have a BEd in Early Childhood Development (Degree) SACE number. Proficient in English and Afrikaans Non smoker Have own vehicle and driver's licence as candidate must either open school at 6:30 or lock-up at 17:30 The candidate should be physically healthy and of sound mental health to meet all the demands required for caring for children i.e., be able to pick up young children, crouch, bend down to their level, help children to deal with their emotions in a loving and caring manner. MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY Salary: R10,000.00 per month.
