Reference: CPT004659-BB-1Role:Responsible for analysing market trends and competitor pricing to develop and implement pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to acquire and confirm Supplier Access and Internet pricing. Key Performance Areas: Supplier Access & Internet Pricing 50% Data Integrity - Inventory Management 30% Supplier Relationships 10% Product Knowledge 10% Competency Requirements:Knowledge: Knowledge of pricing in the telecommunications industry, globally. Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Good negotiation skills. Intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong numerical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Minimum Qualifications: Matric Certificate. Comm would be preferable. Minimum Experience: 2 years related experience. Other Requirements: Knowledge of telecommunication suppliers in Africa would be advantageous. Prepared to work overtime, if required. Job Grade: C1 Key Stakeholder RelationshipsInternal: Partner Relations Manager’s. Finance, Procurement. Project Managers. Quality Assurance. Contract Manager. External: Global Suppliers / Partners. Key Performance Areas:Supplier Access and Internet Pricing:Task Obtain price books from all suppliers in the same country, Quarterly pricebook benchmarking reporting. Conduct pricing analysis and comparison of supplier price books. Review pricing received for BAU request and orders placed, compare with price books received. Present pricing recommendations and insights to senior management, providing clear explanations and supporting data. Update TWYN with price books received. Data Integrity / Inventory Management:Tasks Request and maintain accurate information and updated Escalation Matrixes for all allocated countries/suppliers. Request updated operating licenses for all supplier with Active inventory to ensure compliance. Monitor supplier license expiry dates and ensure timeous follow-up to ensure information id always current. Supplier Relationships:Tasks Maintain regular and constant contact with suppliers and partners, to grow and develop the relationship. Ensure up to date knowledge of products and services offered by suppliers. Remain knowledgeable and updated of key developments within the telecoms sector in all countries and regions. Interact with Partner Relationship Managers and Commercial Managers. Product Knowledge:Tasks Develop working knowledge of mediums available and new technologies being deployed per country. Key Performance Indicators:Supplier Access and Internet Pricing All countries to be requested and received per quarter. Accurate and complete detail. Compare Price Books. Tracking Report / BI Tool: Pricing Report. Tracking Report. Data Integrity / Inventory Management Maintain Tracker of Accurate information. Maintain Tracker with Expiry dates. Up to date and accurate information. Tracking Report / BI Tool: Supplier Management system. Supplier Relationships: Recommendations accepted, when required. Grow and develop relationships. Minimal queries escalated. Tracking Report / BI Tool: Supplier Management system. Product Knowledge: Accurate knowledge. Monthly Apply Now
