PROCESS CONTROL AND AUTOMATION FIELD INSTRUMENT SALES ENGINEER (CRITICAL) SALES SANDTON Division: PAS Sales Reporting to: Sales Manager REMUNERATION: – Basic salary of R30k pm plus, Commission, Medical Aid, Pension, Car Allowance. Our client is looking for an Instrumentation External Sales person Duties: Sell Industrial Process Instrumentation including: Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Infra-red Detectors, Gas and water analysers, Explosion proof process equipment. Build solid relationships with Clients and Principals. Responsibilities & Accountability: Responsible for selling appropriate solutions and being accountable for the viability of the solutions as well as accountable for achieving the Budget, as specified by the Company from time to time. The authority to decide on the solutions to be offered to the client and preparing appropriate quotations based on all forms of Process Control Instrumentation. Qualifications & Training Required N5 OR some form of Instrumentation or Analytical Qualification. Exposure to on-line analysers and in-situ analysers as well as Explosion Proof equipment as used on Industrial Plants. Exposure to Mining Analytics Knowledge of TORQUE, Co2 testing in bottling industry. Exposure to Process Control Instrumentation. Plant experience a distinct advantage At least 4 years’ experience in the Process related field. Basic PC literacy, especially with Microsoft Suite. The one for to sell industrial process instrumentation including pressure, flow, temperature, infra-red detectors, gas and water analysers, explosion proof process equipment. Must have experience in and exposure to on-line analysers and in-silu analyses as well as explosion proof equipment essential. In short, we need a person that has worked with the instruments ,“Hands one experience with instrumentation” and not sat behind a computer writing programs that operate the instruments. Competencies & Skills Required Communication Skills, negotiation skills, information gathering, problem solving, teamwork, understand industry ,integrity, ethical conduct and personal drive. Knowledge & experience required. In-depth knowledge of Industrial Process Instrumentation related equipment with some form of Plant experience being highly advantageous. Remuneration & Package Market Related CTC based on experience and qualifications, including on Target Earnings, Pension, Medical Aid, Cellphone and Motor Vehicle allowance.
