Losika Consulting is seeking the services of an experienced contracting Process Enginner to join our banking client based in Sandton. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimization of our client's business processes, fostering efficiency, and ensuring seamless operations within one of South Africa's premier financial institutions. Evaluate and analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for enhancement and optimization. Design, develop, and implement efficient and effective processes, procedures, and systems to improve operational performance and productivity. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to gather requirements, define specifications, and execute process improvements. Utilize process engineering methodologies and tools to model, simulate, and analyze business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining. Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving to address process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and challenges, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, procedures, standards, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Provide training, guidance, and support to stakeholders and end-users on new processes, systems, and tools, facilitating smooth adoption and implementation. Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking progress towards targets and goals, and recommending continuous improvements. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in process engineering and business process management, leveraging knowledge to drive innovation and excellence. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, business process management, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry. Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes and workflows. Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to analyze complex problems, recognize patterns, and develop innovative solutions. Proficiency in process modeling and simulation tools, such as BPMN, Visio, or ARIS. Sound understanding of process automation technologies, including workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), and business process automation (BPA). Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Certification in process engineering or business process management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPM) is advantageous.
