Reference Number: CV107 Job Description: Our client is looking for a Plant Manager to spearhead the Management Team overseeing the operations of a cutting-edge DMS facility. The Plant Manager holds ultimate accountability for achieving operational targets and objectives related to employee well-being, production output, cost efficiency, and capital projects. Responsibilities: Overseeing and ensuring Health & Safety performance while providing comprehensive reporting on DMS activities. Achieving annual production and cost targets in alignment with the approved budget. Executing the long-term vision and objectives for operations, including the establishment of short and medium-term goals leading to the realization of the long-term vision. Leading the line management of Operations and Engineering teams, establishing Key Objectives and KPIs, and holding Senior Departmental Managers accountable for results. Making critical decisions in Supply Chain management processes, such as Demand & Supply balancing, determining Inventory and/or Stocking philosophy, and decisions on Make/Buy strategies. Acting as the steward of Business Continuity Plans for the site. Developing and overseeing long-term Capital Expenditure plans covering Business Continuity, New Capabilities, Repair & Maintenance, and Capacity Growth. Making staffing decisions for senior positions within Operations and Engineering functions, adhering to the agreed-upon budget. Engaging in senior-level interactions with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, customers, and Group colleagues. Conducting formal performance reporting processes. In the event of identifying any HR/IR-related issues during site visits, promptly communicate and report to the respective department heads and the Senior Management Team. Requirements : Qualification and Skill Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering. 10 years in complex processing leadership roles. Experience in managing hard rock DMS plants. Experience in mining procurement and understanding of the mining industry.
