Procument Officer - South Africa
The successful applicant will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality. Duties and Responsibilities Sourcing of Raw materials and Packing materials Assessing COA’s Conducting price comparisons and analyses of all products and packaging. Liaising and negotiating with existing suppliers. Sourcing new suppliers. Maintaining strong and professional relationships with all suppliers and outside parties. Working with various departments to improve the overall final product that is sent to clients; Advanced statistics and reporting to management. Ad-hoc duties relating to procurement and finances. Ensuring all products that are sourced are of high quality and meet the quality standards of the client and QA Department Candidate Requirements Fluent in English and Afrikaans. University degree (preferably relating to stock, logistics, or commerce); Driver's license with own vehicle (beneficial); 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical procurement. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/health industry will be beneficial. Advanced Excel skills Excellent Mathematics skills Please note that this position is based in Samrand, Johannesburg
