Reference: JHB003052-SS-1Our client in the supply chain/manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ an experienced Procurement Administrator at their organization Location: Kraaifontein, Cape TownRequirements: Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement Must have a valid code 8 driver's license and own vehicle Previous exposure to procurement and sourcing processes within the supply chain/manufacturing industry Demonstrated experience in stock control and inventory management Proven ability to manage and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement Familiarity with international logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Sage Evolution experience Responsibilities: Procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies and guidelines. Maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing stock levels. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Collaborating with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met. Handling international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance. Conducting cost analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Efficiently managing administrative tasks related to procurement processes.
