We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our procurement team DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out all the activities necessary to purchase goods in compliance with the given cost/time/quality requirements and with company policies and standards and work instructions Issue to the vendor the request for a quotation based on the given purchasing request Support the vendors during the preparation of the technical /commercial proposals with the obligation of confidentiality of the related bid Manage procurement process flow from determining stock required until receipt of goods meeting Perform the required assigned activities in compliance with procedures and provided systems and tools Ensure that SOP's are being adhered to at all times Follow up and negotiate Build and maintain productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers Ability to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements Prepare reports and submit to the team leaders Perform ad-hoc procurement-related tasks REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement role (chilled FMCG experience is advantageous) Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, and expediting Knowledge of the procurement process complemented with expediting Must have completed Matric A tertiary qualification in Purchasing or Supply Chain is an added advantage Proficiency in MS Office is required Strong MS Excel skills Data analysis Must have excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills Keen attention to detail and accuracy Ability to problem solve
