Our client, in the Renewable Energy sector, is currently looking for a Procurement and Logistics Manager to manage their solar projects in South Africa. Minimum Requirements Min 2-3 years experience Relevant qualification (degree/diploma) Job Specification Prepare and monitor procurement plan and budget to Co‐ordinate delivery of scope of services against planned schedules Ensuring that company policies and strategies are implemented. Establish and maintain long‐term supplier alliances or frame agreements to ensure competitive prices Manage and maintain relationship with suppliers Prepare, negotiate and finalise contracts related to the supplies of equipment and service agreements Assist Business Development team in the performance of tendering for new projects Management of international and national logistics. Negotiate commercial terms with freight forwarders, carriers and customs agents. Prepare monthly project procurement status reports for internal and external reporting Monitor, ensure on-time delivery of and report on delivery of all equipment, materials and vendor documentation Provide support and guidance to junior team members Ensure that projects comply with laws and regulations regarding transportation including the transportation of hazardous material How to Apply Click here to apply online
