We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.Main purpose of position Currently we are looking for a Procurement and Logistics Administrator (12-month contract) in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision - Improving our future. As our Procurement and Logistics Administrator you will provide a coordination service to the Project Management Team and O&M with regards to Procurement and Logistics through sharing information and ensuring that projects are executed on time and successfully. Main responsibilities Follow the guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the operating system Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimization of the operating system Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project Structuring phase of the projects: Assist with the onboarding of vendors Screening of documents / attention to detail Basic legal and compliance screening; company, director's and key employees Screening of vendor information and document verification Excellent communication with the vendor to convey expectations and procedures to get the correct outstanding information and fully completed documentation Update Vendor Management System Daily communication with Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to report and prioritise Report system errors and suggest improvements Issue RFPs, evaluate Proposals and administer Purchase Orders Ensure that electronic filing system is kept up to date Obtain pricing on minor items being purchased Prepare the Contracts and forward before submitting to Line Manager for signing Expedite documents routing for approval Distribute Contracts to relevant service / material suppliers Ensure that signed contract is returned, shared on operating system and communicated to Project Team Assist to expedite critical orders and checking of shipping documentation Update and expedite deliverables of the reporting schedule Ensure that contracts are closed out at end of project Qualifications and competencies Minimum: Diploma in Supply Chain Management 2 years' experience in a similar role in procurement and logistics Excellent knowledge in MS Office: Advanced Excel, MSWord Organize day-to-day electronic filing in the document management system Presentation and report writing skills Excellent communication skills with colleagues and external vendors (Email/Telephonically)/Spanish, German, French languages are advantageous Independent and self-dependent working High energy level, motivation ("can do" attitude) and goal driven Attention to detail and high integrity Strong team player and multicultural awareness and intercultural competence Analytical thinking, data driven approach with attention to detail Process and priority driven Personal characteristics It is part of every employee's term of reference to contribute to Scatec group's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are: Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritize and work independently Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
