The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within their organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising my client's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives. Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice and support. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor consolidation. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyse market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals to enhance departmental effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or Law would be an preferred. Proven experience in procurement management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favourable contract terms. Excellent understanding of procurement processes, including strategic sourcing and vendor management. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement. Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
