Procurement Officer - Cape Town Region

Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to: Assist with transporting supplies, equipment, commodities, and collection of documents from the field Ensure controls are in place to mitigate department risks Monitor and control costs in areas of responsibility Protect company assets (working capital & fixed assets) Minimise waste and rework Ensure Compliance with internal policies and procedures Verify Purchase Requisitions against Quotations (Prices, quantities, delivery dates, etc.) and investigate discrepancies before placement of purchase orders Investigate discrepancies between Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes and Invoices (Request for Credit, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery and payment of the transaction Expedite overdue orders and follow up on incomplete deliveries Attend to queries and liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve and ensure on-time payments to suppliers Ensure that Proof of deliveries are received and checked against invoices Reconcile CAPEX order with Invoices for part payments Manage and maintain a contract register Compile and analyse Purchasing Reports Apply for and process credit applications with new vendors when required Skills & Experience: Microsoft Office Good time management skills Excellent at prioritizing Qualification: Matric and relevant experience Minimum 2 to 3 years experience Contact ANNARI STANDER on Apply Now
