Purpose of the Position: As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet our operational needs while ensuring the best price, quality, and delivery. Your responsibilities will also include stock control and administrative functions, contributing to the seamless operation of our luxury hotel.

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Hotel / similar diploma
- Strong hospitality background, with the ability to assist in other departments like Food and Beverage and Front Office
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license (essential for procuring items for the Operations department)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and promote good procurement practices with a focus on sustainability and cost-effectiveness
- Identify the best pricing options, ensuring high quality
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
- Prepare requisitions and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive, inspect, and distribute orders promptly
- Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process vendor payments on time
- Drive cost-saving initiatives to benefit the organization
