A leading workforce solutions company, driven to grow people, businesses and economies through connections that allow them to realize their potential has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in Gauteng PROCESS Develop and implement category and sourcing strategy taking into account the value, risk and volumes of each major type of spend. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities. Analyse supplier key performance indicators and support risk management for the supply base. Manage central supplier relationships, pricing negotiations and contracts. Determine optimum number of suppliers and contract length for each commodity. Facilitate the use of appropriate procurement technology and reporting during interaction between managers: procurement and facilities and operating entities. Assist with the preparation of tenders. Draft and implement procurement processes in line with good governance. Draw up monthly procurement reports. Negotiate contracts and deals with vendors. Optimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency. Liaise with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes. Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Estimate risks and apply risk minimising techniques. Partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries. The ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Working with multiple stakeholders. Vendor management approval and list be kept for the company. CUSTOMER Manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers. Work collaboratively with business units to implement the procurement strategy. Collate internal requirements once business planning and forecasting has been completed to create a view of future spend across categories, locations etc. Build relationships with external vendors and suppliers and work with them to develop a supply market that is innovative and capable of satisfying Adcorp requirements. FINANCE Draw up procurement costing budget in line with business requirements. Negotiate deals with vendors. Optimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency Analyse current spend and forecast requirements per category. Analyse the market for emerging trends in each category such as supply constraints, price movements, new products and services etc. Management of procurement budget. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Estimate risks and apply risk minimising techniques. PEOPLE Mentor and motivate team members To develop the Procurement strategy to support and enable the achievement of the Adcorp business strategy including target setting, sourcing strategy, strategic supplier management and capability planning. BCom Degree 5 years of experience in Procurement with at least 3 years in supervisory role. Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management Apply Now
