Procurement Specialist - Gauteng SPECIFICATION We are looking for a superstar to come join the Procurement Team as the Procurement Specialist We are looking for someone who is driven, knowledgeable about the purchase order funding industry, passionate about client engagement, supplier relations and enjoys working in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate is an efficient, solutions-orientated, quick thinking and creative individual who has a passion for uplifting the SME economy and has a love of technology-based solutions and implementations. This candidate will serve under the Procurement Specialist to help with our supplier and site management. Responsibilities Identifying and sourcing suppliers; Receiving and documenting evaluations on suppliers; Negotiating with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery dates and payment terms; Determining lead times for the delivery of materials needed for projects; Organising the delivery of materials; Co-ordinating with the delivery team to ensure that materials have been shipped and delivered; Confirming that materials delivered match the specifications of the materials ordered; monitoring suppliers' performances and ensuring that suppliers meet their obligations; managing suppliers' invoices, verifying amounts quoted and ensuring payments are made timeously; Resolving any issues with suppliers for the project to be performed timeously; providing updates to procurement specialists and deal managers; Filing supplier records, documentation, invoices and delivery notes. Experience and Knowledge 2-3 years procurement specialist experience. 2-3 project management experience. Strong verbal and telephonic communication skills. Prior supplier related experience (Public Sector advantageous). Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively. Post-school education (certificates, diplomas or degrees) is advantageous. Project Management Certification is advantageous. Valid driver's licence and access to a car. You are a sound communicator and able to engage with people in a professional and personable manner. Monthly Salary: R25000 - R45000
