Hire Resolve is currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Procurement Specialist to join our esteemed client's team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within the Inventory Management System (IMS) Procurement organization, focusing on optimizing product and service procurement. This position requires close collaboration with local departments to understand their current and future demands, ensuring a seamless supply chain process. Responsibilities: Create and implement sourcing scenarios/strategies for assigned categories. Identify, research, evaluate, and negotiate terms for locally addressable spend areas to achieve optimal conditions. Commercially lead new and ongoing local key supplier relationships to ensure that the company/affiliate receives satisfactory service standards and maintains contribution sustainability over time. Assist the IMS (Indirect Materials and Services) Manager Procurement in incorporating and developing local policies, strategies, commercial methodologies, or other materials that optimize the affiliate's technical, quality, service, or reliability standards when requested. Identify and propose opportunities for supply base synergy and product portfolio harmonization based on specifications. Build and submit vital reports to assist the team in the supplier selection process. Using appropriate Procurement Tools, prepare and conduct RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. Analyze and evaluate external, local price trends, new product and service offerings, and innovative solutions to find opportunities for the business to optimize spend/budget or grow revenue. Collaborate with local departments to develop procurement plans that incorporate business requirements into current and future procurement activities. Conduct a spend analysis to identify cost-cutting opportunities. Ensure that all SOX-related controls are carried out on time. Create, analyze, and consolidate supplier performance reports based on key performance indicators (critical metrics). Assist in establishing cost-cutting goals and quality standards. Run regular reports using Procurement Tools; SAP experience is preferred. Assist with departmental budget optimization. Collect and consolidate affiliate spend data and product specifications for assigned categories to identify key cost drivers. Requirements: Proven experience with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act. Industry and Market Analysis on Procurement A postgraduate diploma in procurement will be an advantage. Relationship Management Customer Focus, Integrity, and Trust Negotiation Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field. Supplier Screening and Analysis Spend and Demand Analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Ability to Influence (Internally and Externally) Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required. Make or Buy/Lease or Buy/Rent or Buy/Outsourcing Contract Planning and Execution Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Advanced Problem Solving Solid Peer Relationships Building Expertise Supplier Performance Assessment A minimum of 5 years working experience in a procurement function within the FMCG industry is key. Ability to work independently and within a distributed team Action Oriented Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
