Client – The world’s leading non-profit social enterprise organization., Making it easier for people in the developing world to lead healthier lives and plan the families they desire by marketing affordable CONSUMER HEALTHCARE and PHARMACEUTICCAL products and services that range from mosquito nets to contraceptives to HIV testing. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The development of brand plans, marketing, and sales objectives, strategies, advertising, and promotion and ensure successful execution thereof. Evaluating the practicality and potential of new products and market development Coordination between cross-functional brand teams and management of agencies to ensure implementation of plans Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues and develop contingency plans. Oversee planning of Doctor Detail / Hospitals & Pharmacy sales promotion and advertising to drive performance of products within the portfolio, and determine to-market strategies and sales tactics to achieve sales objectives. JOB REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences and/or Business Sciences or equivalent is essential. IMM or related qualification an advantage Proven track record in the Pharmaceutical Industry, with a minimum of 4 years of product management experience. A proven track record of successful product launches, and a sound understanding of the healthcare landscape in SA & SADC Regions PLEASE PROVIDE DETAIL ON WHICH PRODUCT LAUNCHES, AND SUCCESSES Experience in managing effective channel and/or value chain management and experience in pharmacy selling. Generic brand's background/ experience is preferable as well as MUST have handled multiple brands. Multichannel knowledge and channel trade management will be beneficial Previous experience in establishing relationships, KOL development & maintenance for the key brands. Strong leadership competencies including making difficult decisions, initiative, integrity, and adaptability. Strong ability to interpret sales & marketing figures market/trend analysis. Experience in working with market data/market analysis (IMS, Impact Rx, etc) SADC experience preferred – PLEASE ELABORATE on which countries and what specific experience Experience with P&L management incl. revenue and margin management Apply Now
