Product Developer - Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
Upgrade and Develop new innovative, cost-effective & factory-orientated products for the site.
Help drive & initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
Project management of critical path with various teams to enable successful launches in line with customer agreements.
Customer presentations: Professional product presentations, delivering & exceeding customer expectations on Product quality and documentation.
Clear and timely communication: both with the customer and In2Food colleagues.
Ensuring NPD recipes and documentation is captured and up to date as per given timelines.
Ensure new products comply with the relevant legislation.
Ensuring relevant customer documentation is completed and updated.
Local and Global Market awareness TRENDS, constantly aware of the market, trends & competition.
Identifying GAPS
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Food Science/Technology or
Degree in Consumer Science or
Degree in Culinary Science.
2-5 years work experience as a Product Developer.
Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantages.
