ENVIRONMENT: MANAGE complex software projects and Dev teams as the next self-driven Product Owner sought by an innovative Investment Firm. Your core role will entail managing two squads in their journey to support the vision of Client Communications while also taking ownership of the backlog and working with stakeholders to ensure the backlog consists of items that would add value to clients and the organisation. You will require a Technology or Business Analyst qualification with strong academic performance, at least 2 years’ People Management and have worked with various stakeholders. You must also be able to read and write basic SQL, be highly analytical & meticulous and can work across different tech stacks and thrive in a high-pressure environment. Please note this is an EE Only role. DUTIES: Manage and mentor the team of Analysts. Review analysis specifications. Manage and control what is added to the production environment. Work with the team to ensure production is stable. Assist in solving production queries. Assist the team on their journey to evolve their technology. Engage with business stakeholders on their product vision, business / client needs and what system enhancements are required to support their needs. Challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how they envision business and systems processes to work. Based on business priority, prioritise / plan the associated work and assess scope of projects. Manage team roadmap and communicate this roadmap with the team. Communicate with stakeholders on team progress and provide enough information to allow for informed business decisions. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts. Assist in enforcement of project deadlines, and methodologies. Support and drive implementation of projects. Support the documentation and planning for test scenarios, test cases and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations. Manage the team and assist in resolving conflicts or making trade-offs. Work with Tech Leads to establish a healthy balance between business backlog, QA backlog and the technical backlog. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Technology or Business Analyst qualification. Strong academic performance. Leadership / Management qualification would be advantageous. Experience/Skills – At least 2 years People Management experience. Ability to read and write basic SQL. Experience leading Software Development teams and managing complex software projects. Ability to multi tasks across different projects. Experience with stakeholder management. Previous experience as a Business Analyst would be advantageous.
