This company is a leader in providing intelligent tech solutions and is seeking a passionate and results-driven Legal Product Owner to contribute to their transformative growth. As a Legal Product Owner, you will collaborate with a team of highly-skilled professionals in an agile environment, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. Your role will involve planning, managing, and executing the legal product backlog, while serving as a servant leader for the legal team. Translate Vision and Roadmap: Understand and translate the vision of the legal product into a prioritized product backlog with detailed user stories User Story Development: Write well-formed user stories with clear goals and acceptance criteria, converting business and project requirements into actionable tasks Sprint Management: Manage sprint allocations, daily stand-ups, and agile ceremonies, ensuring adherence to task prioritization and delivery of tasks Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with Product Manager and Program Manager to manage ad hoc requests and protect the efficiency of legal team delivery Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the delivery of legal projects from inception to deployment, ensuring business and technical requirements are met within agreed timelines Agile Leadership: Ensure the Agile philosophy is followed, create an environment conducive to a self-managing and accountable legal team, and act as a line manager responsible for leave and performance management Reporting and Communication: Provide regular and accurate progress updates, dashboards, and reports to the management team, while establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, with 3-5 years of team and project management experience Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, along with additional certifications such as Certified Product Owner and/or Scrum Master course Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, communication, and people skills, with strong managerial abilities to handle conflict and manage diverse personalities Although you may not meet all the requirements needed, please still consider sending through your CV as we have many roles available and could possibly find another great opportunity for you Contact Selandea McGuinness on smguinnesscommunicate.co.za or 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTI003475.
