Requirements: Qualified CA(SA) Pastel experience (Advantageous) OMNIX and Navision experience (Highly Advantageous) E-Commerce experience is highly advantageous 3 to 6 years of commercial experience in a similar position in the retail or manufacturing and distribution industry Duties: As a Production Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing and distribution processes. Your duties may include but are not limited to: Financial Analysis : Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Budgeting and Forecasting : Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for production, inventory, and distribution activities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Cost Management : Monitoring production costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability. Inventory Control : Overseeing inventory management processes, including stock valuation, reconciliation, and ensuring accurate reporting. Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with production, inventory, and distribution operations. Compliance : Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls related to manufacturing and distribution activities. Process Improvement : Continuously evaluating and improving production and inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve business objectives. Management Reporting : Preparing and presenting financial reports and insights to senior management, providing valuable insights into business performance and trends.
