Production Administrator/Controller - Vereeniging

Requirements:
  • 5 plus years in similar role. (Purchasing experience very advantageous)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (proficient in excel, word, and outlook).
  • Proficient in English (Crucial) and Afrikaans (Ideal)


Responsibilities:
  • Reports to production manager and senior management.
  • Controlling of specific stock items.
  • Issue stock into production lines.
  • Managing all related documentation of factory procedures.
  • Liaising with suppliers. Purchasing and administration.
  • Managing breakdown calls and liaising with support teams as needed.
  • Repairs estimation and quoting from time-to-time.
  • Responsibilities may be added as needed.


Qualities/Skills:
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.
  • Identifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimize risk.
  • Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with co-workers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail oriented.
  • Working well with many different departments and external suppliers.
  • Being results and deadline driven.
