PRODUCTION ANALYST

Accountable for operation of own work area or as a member of a team, as well as for quality, standards and outputs within defined work routines and policies.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide analytical support to the Production Manager by ensuring accurate and timely processing of production and purchase orders, conducting comprehensive analysis of manufacturing processes, and generating detailed reports to drive cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Manufacturing Analytics
Ensure accurate and timely processing of production orders and completion of production consumption transactions.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders (POs) and financial documentation in SAP.
Analyse and provide labor cost reports, including overtime analytics, to the ROM.
Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
Create and distribute manufacturing and production-related reports for the site, integrating insights and data from SAP and Shopware.
Track and analyze manufacturing expenditures, including raw materials and production costs.
Log and keep track of manufacturing initiatives and projects.
Support Lean Facilitators by providing insights and tracking the financial impact of lean initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of operations reports, budgets, and forecasts related to manufacturing.General Operational Contributions

Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and tools

Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance

Adherence to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Food, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards.
Enforcement: Enforce all food safety and health regulations, policies, and requirements at all times to guarantee a secure work environment.
Personal Hygiene: Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as per the organization's code of conduct.
Contamination Control: Raise awareness about potential physical product contamination and implement control measures to prevent it.
Health and Safety Measures: Take reasonable precautions to prevent health and safety hazards. Follow the prescribed incident reporting procedure in case of accidents.
Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated with relevant business information, policies, processes, and procedures. Enforce compliance with legislative and statutory requirements, as well as GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Training: Attend and enforce the implementation of learnings from training sessions related to Quality, Food Safety, and Health and Safety.
Housekeeping: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and orderliness within the work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Business Management/Commerce (BCom) (Essential)
Min 1 - 3 years' experience (Operational Execution) within FMCG or similar industry preferred
MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; E Mail; MS PowerPoint
