LOCATION South Africa Durban JOB SKILLS Instrumentation and control systems TYPE Permanent SALARY Negotiable FUNCTION: PRODUCTION CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR (FPSO) DISCPLINE: ENGINEERING PROJECT: FPSO GIMBOA LOCATION: OFFSHORE ANGOLA DURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE) SALARY: MARKET RELATED "TRS is looking for an FPSO PRODUCTION CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR to join our leading International Client's FPSO GIMBOA PROJECT based OFFSHORE ANGOLA." JOB DESCRIPTION: Execute the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and operation activities at Site. Ensure that the activities execution comply with the relevant operating procedures, the HSE requirements and the scheduled time. Execute all operations activities such as operation procedures preparation, QA / QC certification, Fire Fighting System usage, HSE system usage and Integrated Control System usage in the relevant field of interest. Execute maintenance and inspection activities for safe operation in the relevant field of interest. Operate the Plant from the Central Control Room (CCR) as instructed by the Production Supervisors and Cargo Supervisors. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related field of work. Minimum Three (3) years as a Production Control Room Operator within Oil and Gas construction. Must have FPSO experience. International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus Must have BOSIET / OPITO approved. Must have STCW Certificates, National CoC Reg.
