POSITION: PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR LOCATION: PAARL, WESTERN CAPE INDUSTRY: SUSTAINABLE RECYCLING AND MANUFACTURING DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Assisting with inhouse production and all orders Assisting with production schedule Liaise with sales team to get product order briefs Implementing orders, co-ordinating various elements sourced from different suppliers to complete the final product Working with and delegating to all suppliers Managing the workflow of seamstresses, table hands, quality controllers and packers Source all raw materials, trims and hardware Logistics: Organise all couriers local and international Liaise with sales team to ensure products meet quality standards Attendance registers Assisting with quality checking Studio Admin and ordering of supplies APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 years' experience in a production and manufacturing role (clothing or uphostery) Patternmaking and sewing skills a bonus Incredible attention to detail, highly organised and able to multi-task Ability to focus and work fast but accurately in a busy, ever-changing environment Experience on Xero a bonus Ability to communicate very well with suppliers, clients and staff members Happy to work overtime when required Own transport HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8.00 am 17:00 pm REMUNERATION: Market related – to be discussed in interview STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
