Production Coordinator (Permanent - East London) Job Description Supervising, planning, organizing and controlling production output Manage attendance and timekeeping – KRONOS System Ensure correct manning level for the production output required Providing on-the-job training to all subordinates Responsible for housekeeping in work area. Ensuring safety, health, environmental and quality standards are adhered to Report any unsafe equipment, working condition Ensure daily reporting of machine downtime/production records are don Control of consumables. Monitor, appraise, council and discipline employees in Department Ensure latest level of work instructions are being displayed on the floor Ensure product are being manufacture to the correct quality standard Administration functions, data capturing and reporting plant KPI’s Maintain personnel records, timekeeping and disciplinary mattersAnalyze production data in order to identify opportunities for improvement Identify & implement continuous improvement projects Advise and implement improvements pertaining to process flow, production output and effective utilization of employees Control operational cost with the emphasis on waste elimination Minimum Requirements NQF4 Operations Management or Production Technology Management Diploma/Degree At least 3-5 years leadership experience within an automotive manufacturing environment Knowledge of current labour legislation and best people leadership practices Excellent Problem-Solving Techniques Understanding of quality management principles: ISO/ IATF TS16949 Knowledge of KTL and Aluwash process would be advantageous Good computer skills – MS Word; MS Excel and Email, WMS and BAAN experience will be advantageous Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a demanding environment and the ability to handle pressure Excellent administrative skills and communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization Good analytical ability Quick learner and passionate Strong organization skills Good attention to detail Strong leadership skills Please forward CV and ALL supporting documentation to, recruiterprofilepersonnel.co.za.
