Reference: EL002719-Janin-1 We are seeking a Production Engineer for a permanent role based in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Eng / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a firm grasp of especially mechanical engineering principles as well as electrical & instrumentation exposure 3-5 years working experience in an engineering or production related field preferred Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification and Water Treatment advantageous Valid drivers with own transport Good computer skills The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: As 2IC, take plant operational responsibility when manager is off site Provide process, operation and maintenance expertise Monitor / evaluate plant health and performance Communicate plant health & performance / take required action Compile and distribute daily plant operational performance reports Track chemical consumption & manage chemical stock levels Monitor cost of treatment and optimize Identifying and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives Deliver on process related inputs required on projects Management of risks Compile SOP's where required Training and development of staff Adhere to incident protocols and ensure risk assessments are in place and conducted Salary: Market related To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to janinehsheldon.co.za If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
