PRODUCTION FOREMAN

The person we are looking for will reside in Ficksburg and travel to Lesotho- Company transport provided

The person will be the production supervisor at a Manufacturing/assembly plant.

The Company assembles, tests, and package electrical products as per the specification.

Qualification:
One of the following Qualifications and skills required:

• Trade test (Millwright/Toolmaker) and 3 years experience in a Supervisory role within the Production/Manufacturing environment.
• BTech. Mechanical Engineering and 1 year of management skills in the Production or manufacturing environment.
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of Management skills in a manufacturing/Production environment.

Skills required:

• Must have solid production supervisory skills and capacity;
• Must have a proven ability to supervise and work with people;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Responsibilities

• Identifying and reporting assembly and quality problems to the Factory Manager and Quality Foreman;
  
• Implementing and maintaining corrective and preventative actions as advised by the Factory Manager and Quality Foreman;
• Ensuring that the finished products are correctly identified;
• Ensuring that all relevant work instructions and quality instructions are available before starting the production lines;
• Implementing and maintaining safety and health standards per the OSHACT System;
• Maintaining production records and general housekeeping.
