An exciting opportunity exists for a Production Foreman at Meadow Feeds Randfontein to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Coordinating production through supervision of staff and equipment Manage plant efficiency. Ensuring quality feed production. Ensuring compliance with company's risk control policies. Measuring Key Performance Indictors for continuous improvement The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: A minimum of Grade 12 and a formal Production qualification would be an advantage. 3 Years in the feed industry with proven production and supervisory experience. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of an automated plant and PLC systems (i.e.Wonder ware, PLC Networking, In-touch). Good understanding of quality systems – ISO 9001, ISO 2200, HACCP, 20 Keys Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving and planning skills are required. Good reporting skills regarding plant efficiencies and optimization. Proficient in both Afrikaans and English. Must have an eye for detail with regards to housekeeping and safety. Quality driven, responsible and use own initiative. The ability to build a strong production team, train and develop staff, together with personal and professional integrity are key requirements. Computer literate –MS Office. Mechanically orientated and relevant experience/qualification will be an advantage. This position requires shift work and overtime. Apply Now
