Production Line Supervisor Oversee the efficient operation of the production line, ensuring quality standards are met, productivity targets are achieved, and safety protocols are followed. They lead and motivate a team of production workers, monitor equipment performance, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision: Directly manage and lead production line staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance. Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and output targets. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper functioning of machinery and promptly address any technical issues to minimize downtime. Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory control department to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent shortages or overages. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Training and Development: Enhance staff skills, knowledge, and adherence to procedures. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output and any issues or concerns, for management review. Communication: Foster open communication channels between production line staff and other departments to facilitate coordination and problem-solving. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements. The succesfull candidates should possesses the following skills and experience: - Matric with 50% pass - Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. - Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards. - Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing setting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
