Production Manager - Cape Town Region

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join a leading manufacturing company based in Cape Town. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods. In this role, you will lead a team of production staff, monitor production processes, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities: Manage and oversee the production department Develop and implement production plans and schedules Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards Optimize resource utilization and efficiency Lead and develop a team of production staff Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-saving measures Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement best practices Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and process optimization Excellent leadership and team management skills Proven track record of improving production efficiency and reducing costs Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good understanding of health and safety regulations Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required Benefits Salary: R400K/yr - R600K/yr, salary negotiable RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
