Manufacturer company is looking for a Production Manager to join their team. As a production Manager your responsibility is to oversee the production process within the company and to ensure that production lines run without any problems and minimum downtime. Work together with supervisors and senior management to ensure that products are manufactured to a certain quality standard and adheres to other safety/industry-related regulations. Responsibilities: Training: Ensure that new employees are trained. Administration: Implement standard operating procedures for production. Optimise capacity planning and processes. Reporting: Report problems or situation to senior management. Daily production updates. Safety: Safety of all staff members in the production facility. Supervision: Organise, monitor and control staff and overtime and manage overtime request processes. Optimise capacity planning and processes. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital. Manage staff requirements and direct the production team. Essential Requirements: NQF Level 4-5 Matric/ Higher certificate. NQF Level 6 diploma / Advanced certificate. 5-8 years production experience at management level. Order equipment and spares thereby ensuring constant stock.
