Production Manager - Cape Town City Centre
As the Production Manager, you'll be at the helm of our production facility, overseeing day-to-day operations with precision and flair. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the entire production facility, ensuring seamless operations and on-time delivery.
- Leading and motivating our talented production staff and optimizing all resources.
- Spearheading various departments including Procurement, Sheetmetal, Welding, Bakery assembly, Dispatch, and Receiving.
- Planning and scheduling production jobs to guarantee timely completion.
- Implementing and refining production processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Upholding impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization through regular housekeeping.
- Efficiently managing all raw materials and consumables used in production.
- Providing detailed weekly production reports to senior management, addressing any challenges proactively.
- Establishing and maintaining a robust quality system to ensure the excellence of our products.
- Assisting with administrative tasks to streamline workflow and documentation.
- A Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant tertiary education
- Experience in production management or coordination within the engineering or manufacturing industry
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Your own transport and a valid license.
- Full computer literacy.
