A prominent manufacturing organization specializing in glass fiber and resin production is actively seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join their team in Maitland, Cape Town . As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing departmental production in alignment with annual budgets and company policies, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Manage day-to-day operations of the production unit Achieve production targets and cost efficiencies as per annual budgets Mentor and coach junior management to optimize operational performance Ensure compliance with quality objectives and regulatory standards Implement and monitor inventory controls and stock management practices Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OHS Act and company standards Requirements: Experience in Impregnation, Stenter environment, or Wet Processing A production or engineering related qualification Grade 12 with Mathematics Minimum of 5 years' production experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity Solid understanding of ISO Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety protocols Key Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and communication abilities Proven track record in production management within a manufacturing setting Technical proficiency in both chemical and mechanical processes Ability to drive process improvements and manage complex production environments Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
