Attention to detail. Excellent administrative skills Motivate, guide and support staff Analytical Verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to resolve problems DUTIES: Managing factory employees (approx. 30 staff) which include: Overseeing all aspects of signage production from inception to completion, Production planning in each department and ensuring adequate scheduling of work / hours / staff, Monitor and manage time and motion of factory employees; Ensuring every job is completed on time and in full with all quality standards met; Ensuring production equipment is working and maintained regularly; Ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times and/or developing new SOP’s if and when required; Ensuring all staff is trained and to organise training if and when required; Ensure al Health and Safety regulations are met and in line with South African legislation; Regularly presenting feedback to management on all issues related to production managers role; Ensuring there is responsible waste control; Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations; Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team; Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
