A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application.EMPLOYMENT TYPE : PermanentSECTOR : ProductionBASIC SALARY : R40 000START DATE : 15 April 2024REQUIREMENTS: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications Project management software CAD Experience Computer literate, Driver’s license & own vehicle, Proven experience in production planning, Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in a management position in the signage industry. Attention to detail. Excellent administrative skills Motivate, guide and support staff Analytical Verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to resolve problems DUTIES: Managing factory employees (approx. 30 staff) which include: Overseeing all aspects of signage production from inception to completion, Production planning in each department and ensuring adequate scheduling of work / hours / staff, Monitor and manage time and motion of factory employees; Ensuring every job is completed on time and in full with all quality standards met; Ensuring production equipment is working and maintained regularly; Ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times and/or developing new SOP’s if and when required; Ensuring all staff is trained and to organise training if and when required; Ensure al Health and Safety regulations are met and in line with South African legislation; Regularly presenting feedback to management on all issues related to production managers role; Ensuring there is responsible waste control; Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations; Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team; Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
