Min. 2 years’ operational working experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment. The Job:Report to the Production Manager: Planning: Daily packing analysis and administration for planning purposes. Assist with production planning, order processing and management. Assist in planning, organising and supporting production meetings. KPI administration – implement, review and update of all production objectives. Design, monitor and update KPI boards. Monitor, evaluate and communicate production schedules. CIP – Monitor, administer and report department CIP activities and process improvements (implement continuous improvement initiatives). Engineering change management – maintain and update. Process Control: Schedule, monitor and arrange production; maintenance and repairs for manufacturing equipment; and changeovers according to production plans. Capture production outputs and customer releases into the MRP system. Update daily production plans based on actual production output, changes in customer demand, material availability and operational capacity. Communicate production schedules to relevant stakeholders. MRP maintenance – reconcile, demand and capacity alignment. Hardware maintenance and support. Monitor performance against internal KPI (OEE monitoring, evaluation and communicate data analysis). Production Management: Optimise production processes. Maintain manufacturing and production efficiencies. Balance production lines. Monitor the achievement of daily production targets. Analyse daily variances and identify opportunities for improvements. Investigate and resolve manufacturing related problems and sub-standard performance. Project Management: Identify, suggest and implement corrective actions to improve quality of project work. Raise requests for samples and update the sample request register. Oversee production of product samples. Data administration – OEE capturing (compile production reports, presentations, and machine analysis.
