Profibre Products (Pty)Ltd is looking for a candidate to ensure that customer forecasts and sales orders are correctly interpreted and actioned, in order to deliver on time. This includes re-scheduling production according to stock availability, and communicating with customers, both external and internal. To ensure that raw material is ordered for planned production and due dates are communicated to all relevant parties. Production Control / Planning Generate monthly production plan (Operations Plan) Generate daily pacer plans 1.2.1 Rescheduling of production to suit changes in orders, material supply etc., and the affective communication hereof to all affected parties Assist with customer liaison in respect of build rates, stock, etc P&A planning, co-ordination, follow-up, liaison & distribution Complete the daily Production vs Plan performance graphs (MPSP), and forward to all necessary parties Running of MRP Customer liaison and feedback with regards to sales orders and delivery due dates Resolves and escalates issues with regards to customer service and deliveries in a timely fashion 2. Dispatch 2.4 Arrange transport of finished goods. 3. Communication Participate in team meetings effectively. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Constant communication with both internal and external customers 4. Supply chain Assist with the continuous improvement program to transform the supply chain function into a world class operation within the company 4.1Stock Management 4.1.1.Assist the monthly stock taking process, ensuring that all counts are accurate and any stock variances are eliminated. 4.1.2.Maintain good stock management practices to ensure efficient stock levels without undue stock shortages. 4.2Other 4.2.1. Maintain, develop, implement and ensure adherence at all times to company SOP's within the Supply Chain At least 3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment. Planning / forecasting experience. Excellent communication and negotiating skills. Basic lean manufacturing knowledge an advantage. Stock management. Honesty and integrity at all times. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and establish priorities. The ability to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide seamless customer service Relevant post secondary degree, diploma or certificate Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products Proficient use and knowledge of ERP in respect of purchasing and inventory related modules Syspro advantageous for new candidates Market related.
