Reference: CAW005324-LH2-1Production Supervisor (Ceramics) - George - Western Cape A leading Tile Production company in George is looking for a Production Supervisor.Role and Responsibilities:As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations and leading daily activities. Your duties will include: Supervising 18 staff and managing daily activities, including logistics. Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Ordering and controlling all raw materials required for production. Verifying the accuracy of orders, stock received, inventory, and deliveries. Attending daily production planning meetings and scheduling daily production. Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing necessary documentation. Conducting daily inspections on all plant and equipment, repairing defects as needed. Coordinating sales orders and pickings with factory staff. Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the factory, equipment, and premises. Performing monthly stock takes and managing daily facility opening and closing procedures. Providing assistance and support to admin/sales staff when required. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Qualified Artisan (advantageous) Valid driver’s license. Grade 12/Matric certificate Experience Required: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a production manager or similar role. Preferred Skills: Excellent communication skills. Physical fitness and good health. Strong mathematical and writing skills. Ability to work unsupervised. Effective team player. Additional Notes: Adherence to all statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures. Execution of all legal tasks assigned. Punctuality and professional appearance are essential.
