RPO Recruitment's client in the Mining Industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. Our client is a prestigious mining company based in Mpumalanga, known for their commitment to safety and operational excellence. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the mining processes. You will be responsible for overseeing production activities, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise all production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets. Manage and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support. Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a safe working environment. Monitor and evaluate production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address any equipment issues and ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review. Requirements Bachelors' Degree or Diploma in mining related field Opencast Blasting Certificate for Coal Mines 2 different types of Opencast Machine Licenses 2 Years' experience as a Digger/Dragline Operator or Blaster or completed Graduate Development Programme Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry. Strong knowledge of mining operations and production processes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
