Position: Production Supervisor Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa Industry: Mining RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production operations in the mining industry. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage a team of workers to ensure production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in accordance with company policies and procedures Ensure that all production targets are met and proper quality standards are maintained Monitor and report on production metrics, deadlines, and targets Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce production costs Train and mentor staff to ensure their continued development and adherence to safety procedures Communicate and collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work environment Essential Requirements: Opencast Blasting certificate for coal mines 2 different types of opencast machine licenses 5 years' experience as a Digger/Dragline Operator / Blaster / completed graduate development Programme. 2 years' Supervisory experience Strong knowledge of mining processes and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industry A relevant degree or diploma in mining engineering or a related field is preferred Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.us Alternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.
