Westfalia Fruit Products, situated in Kempton Park (Ripe for you), has a permanentvacancy for a suitably qualified and experiencedProduction Supervisor. Reporting to Operations Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the management of the Ripe for you facility, assist in actioning all necessary procedures and protocols, executing and maintaining health and safety, food safety policies, production and also productivity management. Qualifications/Experience: Matric, qualification in production Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisor role Must be able to handle extensive administrative activities related to production Valid driver's license and own transport Knowledge: Fresh Produce knowledge is essential, added advantage (Avocado and Mango handling experience) Knowledge on stock control is essential Production planning knowledge Sound knowledge of production fundamentals Administrative activities related to production. Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) HR / IR knowledge essential Time and attendance Disciplinary procedure Skills: Team orientation and strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Sound knowledge of production fundamentals Ability to develop good working relationships and trust Results and deadline driven Strong problem-solving skill, analytic ability and be detailed oriented Supervisory skills People management Attitude / Behavior: Passionate Reliable Confidence Attention to detail Results orientated with a sense of urgency Judgement and decision making The company offers a Total Guaranteed Remuneration Package which comprises provident fund, insured benefits, medical aid, and an option to structure an annual bonus.
